Legal Question in Criminal Law in Wisconsin

In Wisconsin, is it legal to drive nude? Provided your not being lude or breaking any other laws. But if I, just go for a drive, that begins and ends in my private garage... am I breaking the law by simply being nude while driving?

Public nudity is an unsettled issue in WI and can often lead to charges such as indecent exposure, lewd or disorderly conduct, particularly in locations where it is not expected or tolerated (i.e. most of the state) if you are visible to the public. One exception would be the single WI River beach near Madison managed by the Department of Natural Resources for nude recreation during certain limited time periods, but everywhere else, you would probably be arrested. Unless others on the road can tell what you are wearing or not wearing while driving, however, my guess is that you would be OK, but not so much if anyone complained, if you were pulled over, or if you had a road emergency. There have been numerous lawsuits over whether or not such restrictions interfere with constitutional rights which have gone both ways, often depending upon the location and circumstances.
