Legal Question in Criminal Law in Wisconsin
worthless check
I wrote a check that bounced. The check was paid in November but I am still required to appear in court concerning this matter. This is the first time anything like this has happened to me. How concerned should I be about this?

Re: worthless check
The real issue is not whether the check was paiud, but whether when the check was written you knew or should have known that the were insufficient funds to cover the check or that the account was closed. If you knew or should have known that the check would not be covered, it may still be an offense even if later paid.
You should seek legal counsel.
