Legal Question in Criminal Law in Wisconsin

wrongly accused

I was wrongly accused of sexual misconduct with my 9 year old sister when I was 13. I was placed in foster care for one year. I now have to register as a sex offender. It is becoming very life threatening to me. Where do I start to get it appealed. My sister is now old enough to testify I never touched her. Please help!

You need to retain a lawyer immediately, or re-retain your old lawyer. If there truly is new evidence which was not available at the time of your original trial, it can form the basis for a new trial. Even if you plead guilty, the new evidence might be useful; at minimum in an application for executive clemency (i.e., a pardon). You should also be guard against any appearance that you may have put your sister up to changing her story or otherwise manipulated her, since that is the first thing which the authorities will suspect. This is not intended as legal advice to you; you really must consult with some attorney in person.
