Legal Question in Discrimination Law in Wisconsin

Sexual Discrimination and Un-Equal Pay?

My husband & I were hired on at a small firm on Jan 3. He was to be trained in drafting, & I in clerical work.2 wks later the co decided that due to "payroll confidentiality", I could not continue in my position My husband worked in the same office. I had mentioned to a manager a week into my employment that I desired to be a drafter in the future, & I had heard it was possible to do so. My head mgr was happy to hear of my eventual intentions & informed me that I would be trnsfrg that wk. I was thrilled for the fact that I would at least get a $2.5 raise to starting pay, AS I WAS INFORMED BY MY MNGR.This was Jan.28. 2 days later, I was informed that my dist mngr said "I was to see my moving up a position as an opportunity, & I was not entitled to a pay increase". It is now Feb 14, and I have had two weeks to realize this is discrimination Sexual: starting pay for myself: $8.per hour, My husband-10.5 hr. Equal pay-I have the EXACT qualifications as my husband AND do the EXACT same work that he does, with the same quality, in the same office.

Do I have a case? And if I do, what next?
