Legal Question in DUI Law in Wisconsin

So if I had 4 drinking tickets...the fine amount increasing each time up to the cost of last one which was $500 something with mandatory court dates each time with the description saying Underage consumption of alcohol, why would the one I just recieved only be $172.00 with a non-mandatory court date and the decription be "Underage Person Consumes Alcohol off licensed Premises?" Please get back to me I really need to know what is going on. ~thanks

Without knowing more details about the charges, such as which agency issued them and which court they are being heard in, no lawyer could advise you about what is going on with your cases. However, one bit of advice which I would freely give you is to seek treatment if you have a drinking problem; it might even help you when you go to court. My second bit of advice would be to get a lawyer, since underaged drinking tickets effect a lot more than just your pocket book. Municipal judges also have the power to revoke your drivers license and your insurance rates can increase if you are convicted on any of them. My response in this public web forum is intended for public educational purposes only and not intended to create an attorney client relationship between us.
