Legal Question in DUI Law in Wisconsin

DUI / From out of state, question

I got a 1st. time DUI in Red Lodge, MT. this past summer. They demand I come back for my hearing as MT. Law requires me to be there in person to fight charges.

''CAN THE JUDGE HAVE THE DMV IN WI. TAKE MY LICENSE FOR 6 MTHS. AND ISSUE A FINE AS WELL?

Very best!

DUI OWI Minnesota Conviction Leading to WI Loss of License

Revocations due to drunk driving convictions in any state will cause loss of license in all other states with reciprocity. I believe that these include Minnesota (and all bordering states) for WI residents, although most of my out of WI experience involves IL. You really need to consult with your own attorney, hopefully one who is familiar with MN law. My comments here are not legal advice, nor do they create any attorney client relationship between us. In any events, I do not know nearly enough about your specific case to advise you.
