Legal Question in DUI Law in Wisconsin

dui

My stepdaughter got a DUI 12-29-07, 1st time. She now has an occupational license. IF she is caught while driving outside of her times listed, what is the ticket, how much is the fine AND is she taken to the police dept to be picked up? ALSO, if she gets another OWI at the same time, what happens? She has lost her license for 6 mos, would it a longer period of time then??? My husband and I want to help her get back on track. She needs to know the seriousness of this. Thank you for your time.

Driving After Revocation of Driver's License Due to OWI Conviction

In most WI Counties, illegally driving after a person has been revoked due to a drunken driving conviction will result in free ride to the County Jail until the offender can be taken in front of a judge on the next business day. The judge will then set bond, which could be anything from a signature bond to a cash bond of several thousand dollars. Conviction usually results in substantial county jail time, even if the person subsequently reinstates their license before court, if the original revocation was drunk driving related.
