Legal Question in DUI Law in Wisconsin

Need to fix a DWI in Wisconsin that happened back in 2001. It was idenity theft, pluse wasent even living there at the time. Now my license is suspended in California and cant renew it.

Identity theft might be one of the few excuses available to reopen such an old conviction. However, your evidence would need to be very strong, particularly since the arresting agency would have fingerprints on file for the actual person they arrested. Even with strong evidence, however, you would probably need to prove that you acted with diligence once you found out about the wrongful conviction. You need to retain a WI lawyer to petition to reopen on your behalf as soon as possible unless you want to live with this conviction for the rest of your life.
