Legal Question in DUI Law in Wisconsin

Underage possession/consumption

My son was cited for underage possession/consumption of alcohol. He has indicated to the court that he is innocent. The court set a date for his apperance, but he will be out of the country for school by that date. He indicated this to the clerk, but they said to discuss with the city attorney. This he did, but the city attorney discussed with the officer that wrote the citation and he indicated that be believe my son was consuming. My son did indicate he was willing to do a breath and/or blood test, but this wasn't accepted at the time. Is there a way to get the court date moved to when he is back in the country?
