Legal Question in Family Law in Wisconsin

I was a absent father

The last time I saw my son is when he was 6 months old now he is 6 years old. His mother said if I couldnt be in her life then I couldnt be in my son's life either. Now I am fighting to see him. I sent him 2 letters but had to foward the letters to the child suport agency because I couldnt get his address or phone number, I just know what town he lives in. I dont even know if he got it. I am going to court soon is there going to be a big problem for visitations with him since its been so long now? and yes I do pay child suport im only behind a bit. But I am representing myself due to not enough money and she has a lawyer. and she also requested a different judge, the one I wanted. Thanks for helping

Since you have not seen your child for such a long time, the Court is likely to order a viitation evaliuation performed. Any schedule is likely to start out as supervised since your son does not know you. It will then gradually increase to unsupervised and then over nights.
