Florida Law: Do you want to adopt them or be their legal guardian? Have their parents passed away? Are their parents abusive? Whether you want to adopt them or be their legal guardian you should go to your local courthouse and ask if there is a self help division. In Florida, the Broward County Courthouse has a self help division for those who want to proceed with their case without an Attorney or pro se. This should at least get you in the right direction.

The verbiage you use should be similar.

There is also an appendix at the bottom of it. You should file something like that with your complaint.

Note that you must notify the parents.
