Legal Question in Family Law in Wisconsin

Child Support

When my fiance and I marry, is it true that his Ex-wife could take him back to court for an increase in support due to our now combined income being greater than his alone? This support is for his children residing in Wi, ages 9, 11.

If so, do you have any suggestions that would protect my income from becoming her income for children we have only in the summer. Thank You

Re: Child Support

She can seek a modification if there is an increase in his financial ability to pay more support for his minor children. Your household contributions may be a factor considered by the courts in determining if an increase is warranted.
