Legal Question in Family Law in Wisconsin

Two children- one lives with mom -other with Dad

I have a question about child support in Wisconsin. My husband and I have physical custody of his 16 year son. His Ex-wife has physical custody of their 17 1/2 year old daughter. The placement was agreed to verbally. We have had no problems at all with the placement arrangement. My question is this:

Now that my Husband is un-employed, how can we get the support stopped with out costing a lot of money? It does not make any sense for him to be paying for both children when one lives with us.Can we get support from the Ex-wife?
