Daughter lives with ex and got ticket for underage drinking

I just found out that my 15 year old daughter that lives with her mother in WI got a ticket for underage drinking and is doing community service. My ex had her lie to me about it and when I finally got it out of my ex, she did not want to talk to me about it. Do you have advice on where I can go to determine what is going on up there and can this help me get custody of her? There are many more issues, too many to list, with her mother. A couple are: Her mom talking about killing herself to them, partying, letting my daughter do and go wherever she wants, daughter failing school. ETC. I do believe these would qualify to NOT be in the best interest of the child. Any advice for a dad who is the only parent that cares?

All custody issues are very fact specific and change daily as facts are discovered. You do not state the custody status now, so it is impossible to answer your question without knowing the background of custody. You should seek counsel if you are concerned for your child's welfare.
