Legal Question in Family Law in Wisconsin
My divorce is final as of today. I am pregnant, but have not disclosed that to my lawyer or in court. I am absolutley sure the father is NOT my ex-husband (who I divorced today), but I do know who the father is. I do not plan to hold my ex-husband at all responsible for the child. Do I need to disclose this to my lawyer, and if I do, could it impact the divorce?

That is something you should have disclosed. If you were married at the time of conception, your husband, under law, is the presumed father. As a result, without a provision in your decree stating he is not the father, that issue remains open.
