emancipated adult

My daughter is uncontrollable,and wants no part of our family,can she become a emancipated adult? she is 16 now

Hello, I must admit that I am not familiar with "emanicpated adult." I would have to do a little research to come up with an answer for you that could rely on. In general, the age of majority is 18, and someone younger than that is a minor and not an adult. More often, parents bring actions for minors under CHIPS petitions for their protection in situations like this, but again, that is only a possibility.
