Legal Question in Family Law in Wisconsin

Not the father after 9 years

We have recently been given a paternity test report that shows my husband is NOT the father of his 8 and a half year old daughter. What legal recourse, if any, does he have against his ex-wife? What should HIS next step be?

Re: Not the father after 9 years

He has no recourse against his ex wife. He can seek to disclaim paternity, However, a court will decide whether to allow that to occur based on whether there has been a relationship established between father and daughter and whether disclaiming paternity is in the child's best interests.
