Legal Question in Family Law in Wisconsin

Filing for divorce out of state

I have moved out of the state of Wisconsin and my husband is still living there. I hear he is filing for a divorce and we have a home in Wisconsin. He also still has many of my personal things, some of the things I have inherited and gifts given to me. I need to know how to file against his taking everything everything away from me. He is not supporting me so therefore I cannot afford an attorney to handle this for me. There is real property in both our names and one car in my and his name. How do I go about filing for support from him, getting my things from him?

You should get a lawyer

If you are in Washington, and your things are in Wisconsin, you are going to need a lawyer to fight what appears to be a nasty divorce.
