Legal Question in Family Law in Wisconsin

if i give him all

will the judge go for it if i give my permison to my hosband to take all the bills and the house and every thing we own or will he split it up

my husband said that he will let me have visation and joint cusety if i let him have every thing

right know it is fine if i got every thing i would lose it i count pay the bills

Hello,

A judge will usually honor a property division agreed to by the parties. It is different for custody and child support. There the judge is looking out for the best interests of the children, rather than what the parents want.

One other comment. Before you "give him all", it would be good to get a second opinion. I have seen many women who at first thought about giving everything to the husband, but when they talked to a lawyer and weighed their options, they ended up in a much better situation.
