Legal Question in Family Law in Wisconsin

My husband and I were married in Wisconsin. We have a 4yr old daughter. We moved to the state of California in 2009. Seven months ago my husband decided to abandon our home and moved back to Wisconsin. My daughter and I still reside in California. He just filed for divorce in Wisconsin and is requesting that I give him proof parenting classes. According to him parenting classes are a requirement of the state of Wisconsin. Is this true? I have filed for child support in the state of California. What do I need to do to make sure custody is not decided in the state of Wisconsin.

Wisconsin would not have had jurisdiction over the child. So, you needed to file a motion to Dismiss for lack of jurisdiction. They would then push the child portion back to California.
