Legal Question in Family Law in Wisconsin

I am Japanese who married American for 13 years and we do have 2 children(12yr. & 7yr.)

I am filed for devorce by my husband on 10/8/09 without notice.I did tell him I do not want to do.

But the clock is tick tacking for 1st court hearing and only I am trying is begging to cancel to do it.

Do I should hire a attorney even I do not want to divorce?

Given the apparent degree of your English-language skills, you would be foolish not to hire an attorney immediately to represent you in this divorce so that all of your rights are protected (and be sure that you ask for a Japanese interpretor each time you're in court). In this country, unfortunately, the wishes of only one spouse dictate that a divorce will happen - the consent of the other spouse is not needed for the spouse who desires the divorce to get it done. Sorry, but you have the State of California to thank for this form of divorce which is called "no-fault" divorce. Good luck.
