What does ''marriage-Like'' relationship Mean in Divorce Decree?
My ex-wife pays me maintenance. In my divorce decree, in the ''maintenance'' section. It states '' Maintenance shall terminate upon remarriage of receipient(me) or entry by recipient into a long term marriage like relationship with another adult person of the opposite sex''
My question : Can my wife arbitrarily determine, that since my girlfriend and I have been living together for 14 months - that that in itself consitutes a ''marriage like'' relationship? I don't have the means right now to obtain a lawyer to fight her.

She cannot make that determination without a court order. However, if you have been co-habitating for 14 months, sharing bills and expenses, she is likely to prevail in court.
