Legal Question in Family Law in Wisconsin

Mediation

I just went through mediation and just received the letter back from the mediator outlining out agreement.

I was shocked to find that a couple things that the mediator said she was going to place in the agreement were not there. I can not sign this with out those agrements being placed there. I called the mediation office and they told me there was nothing I could do and would not even give me the time of day. I know my ex will not be very coopertive because the way it is written now is to all her benifit. I took very carefull notes on this and I stressed these areas of concern very stongley and the ex agreed and the mediator went to length on explaining how she was going to put these items in there.

What can I do?

Re: Mediation

Hello,

I confess I have not had a case like this. However, it seems like you should be able to get the agreement changed to say what the agreement really said. The judge may have authority to do that. You could write a letter to the judge if you are doing this yourself. If you want help, you need to consult further with a lawyer. I am not sure, without further research, whether you can get the mediation relief or not. Best wishes,
