Legal Question in Family Law in Wisconsin
The mother moved out of the state of wisconsin without notifying the court. I reluctantly agreed based on the fact she said she said she had a job there. Come to find out she didnt have a job there and moved in with a female friend thats a felon and on state aid herself. She also so told me she would bring my daughter back every two weeks to see me. She has not done that at all. Its been a month and I havent seen my child. I also have a really hard time even speaking to my daughter over the phone. I may get to speak to speak to her for 2 minutes once a week if that. I pay child support like im order to do. Again the court has still been notified that she moved 3 hours away to another state. The mother is extremely arguementive with me about the situation. What are my options at this point. I want to be in my daughters live. I work and have my own place where the mother had neither a job or place of her own. What can I do to at least get her to bring my daughter back. Im would love to have my daughter fulltime. Is that even possible!

If you have a court order granting you legal custody and placement of your daughter, you may able to file a motion insisting that it be followed, which may require the mother to bring your daughter back for your visits. You can also obtain an order that the mother maintain your visits or face criminal charges. Finally, if you wish to spend more time with your daughter, you can file a motion asking the court to grant it to you. Situations in which the parents live in different states can be complicated. You may have many options here, so I suggest you speak to a family lawyer immediately.
