having a person removed from my home

I rent a home in my name and am

trying to get my girlfreind to leave

because of drinking issues. how can I

get her removed from my home

Ask her to leave. If she doesn't leave voluntarily, then you can have her belongings removed to a safe storage area, change the locks on the apartment (with landlord's permission) and advise her that she has 90 days to get her stuff or you'll consider it abondoned and have it hauled to the Salvation Army or Goodwill (or the dump). If she becomes physically violent, then call the police and file a DV complaint against her with them. Good luck!
