Petition to enforce with prejudice

Can someone tell me what this means: to ''dismiss a petition to enforce with prejudice?'' What is being agreed to here?

Re: Petition to enforce with prejudice

While I cannot guess as to what your "petition to enforce" might be, the term "with prejudice" means it is final and binding and prevents any further pursuit of the same matter in any court.

So, by comparison, if a lawsuit (or complaint or petition) is dismissed "without prejudice", it means that the plaintiff may be able to refile the lawsuit. In your case the dismissal would be final.
