Legal Question in Family Law in Wisconsin
Planning to marry - both previously divorced. His decree indicates his ex has up to 10 years to come back for additional maintenance, 5 years down, 5 to go. He is no longer obligated by that decree to provide yearly tax returns (child support has ended as kids now >18 and graduated). I don't in any way want my income to be considered should she decide to return to court to ask for additional maintenance (my income is higher than his but still modest). If we marry, is there any possible way that my income could be figured into what may eventually become additional maintenance for his ex?

NO. Your income will not be a factor.
But it might trigger her to act. File Married filing separately to keep that from being a possibility.
