Post divorce, must I accept everything from California

Separated since Feb 96, divorced since Oct 97, ex-wife is blocking credit cards cancellation, since 96,

giving wrong information to other creditors,

divorce decree states clearly who is responsible for what.

Must I accept lies and alimony for ever, because I am

out of state?

Are you in Wisconsin? Is this a Wisconsin divorce?

Generally, I would say no, you would have to file in the court where the divorce was granted. File for contempt and see if the court will enforce the decree. If so, the ex may have to pay fees, fines and even spend some time in jail.
