Legal Question in Family Law in Wisconsin

Pregnant, Single..and want to move out of state

I just moved to AZ from FL about 3 months ago...I haven't even changed my license over yet. The only proof I have of living here is my change of address. ....so this is my question.... The guy I'm living with and I (we were a couple) got pregnant. Now, he wants nothing to do with me, but does want to be a part in the baby's life....however, he's treating me terrible and I can't handle the stress anymore. I want to move to Wisconsin by my entire family for the support. I'm scared of him taking the baby from me and the laws that come with moving out of state. What do I have to worry about?

The Arizona statutes do not prevent you from moving out of state at this point. If you stay here and he establishes parenting time through the court, then you'd need his consent or a court order to relocate with the child out of state. You should consult with an attorney in Wisconsin to determine what the process would be for establishing paternity and other court orders if you move there before the baby is born.
