rights of non-custodial parent re: child visitation

when you have joint custody, what kinds of rights does the non-custodial parent have regarding child visitation?

when it is our weekend, can the custodial parent keep the children, without discussing this with the non-custodial parent?

Hate to sound like I'm ducking your question,

but I'd have to see your marital settlement

agreement and custody order to answer these

questions. The rights given are different inn

every case.
