Legal Question in Family Law in Wisconsin

If you sign your rights away from a child, and he is adopted by the mother's husband; are you still responsible for child support. Current not the arrears. The state is WI.

YES, current and arrearages.

Terminating parental rights for decisions over the child has NOTHING to do with taking responsibility for the child's support.

These are separate documents that have to be executed and filed with the court. Once TPR is done you have little hope of getting them to sign and file the support documents.
