If me and my son father has joint custody but I have primary placement would I be able to move out of state with my son with getting into any trouble

No - you cannot simply relocate. You must provide a notice to the other parent regarding the proposed relocation in the form required by statute. If the other parent objects, they may schedule a hearing seeking to change placement or parenting time.
