Legal Question in Family Law in Wisconsin

Taking fathers rights away

I have a 2 year old daughter and her father hasn't seen her for a year nor has he sent money, clothes or anything for her or to help out me. I have a restraining order on him and once again he is in jail. He has never helped me out and I can count everything he has ever bought her on 2 hands. He is a very unstable person who has tried killing himself several times and is very violent and a drug user. I am scared that one day my daughter will be gone and he will have taken her and not because he loves her. I want all his parenta rights taken away and I want him as far away from us as possible. How do I do this and know that he will not get any kind of visitation or rights to her?

Once parental rights are terminated, there can be no visitation. A lack of involvement ofver a period of a year may be sufficient to terminate parental rights if the Court finds that this is in the child's best interests. Often, a trial is hels in such cases.

We would require a retainer payment of $3.000 for such a case.
