Legal Question in Family Law in Wisconsin

Visitation

I am dating a man whose ex-wife refuses to allow him visitation with his daughter as long as he is dating anybody. We are entertaining the idea of moving in together. Now his ex-wife says that if we do, she will gaurantee that he never sees his daugther again. How can he enforce vistation now, and what are the ramifications if we do move in together?

Re: Visitation

His choice to have you move in with him really has no legal impact on his legal right to see his child (unless you're engaging in hazardous activities). He should file a motion with the court to have her show cause why she should not be held in contempt for impeding his visitation, provided there's an order in place that mandates visitation for him with the child.
