Legal Question in Family Law in Wisconsin

Visitation vs. physical placement

Please explaine to me the difference between visitation and physical placement. In definitions of WI statutes physical placement is defined but the statutes also state about visitation but doesn't define visitation. Can someone please define both and explaine to me the difference and please do not tell me it is the samething or else the statutes would not use an and/or in thier wording. Thank you.

Re: Visitation vs. physical placement

For physical placement, read your

Wisconsin statute. Visitation generally defines

the time when a noncustodial parent (the

parent who does not have phsical custody of the

child) may see the child. For example,

once on Saturday and on Wednesday evenings

between 6 and 8.

Under certain circumstances, the visitation

location is specified.
