What happens when a person goes to resolve a judgement, but the plaintiff no longer exists

Corp or individual plaintiff?
If individual, the judgment is an asset which may have passed to heirs.
If a corporation, it is possible a succesor corporation or trustee may hold the judgment claim.
How much is judgment amount?
Is the judgment preventing a sale of real estate or loan closing?
