Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Wisconsin

is the statue of limitations up?

In Feb. 2003 I was in an auto-accident in WI. I recently found out that I'm being sued for damage to the other drivers car. Its been 5yr and 8 months since it happoned. I'm wondering if it has already passed the statue of limitations. Thanks

Wisconsin has a 6 year statute of limitations for property damage claims (3 years for personal injury). So it looks like the suit is timely.
