If you are sued in small claims by a credit card company and they win Now they garnish your wages. Can they continue charging you interest on that account,Also wgo is liable for paying for the wage ganishment through the court?

Credit Card Interest Following Wage Garnishment

Once a creditor receives a judgment, the generally rule is that the interest rate is controlled by statute rather than the original contract. In WI, this rate was set by the legislature at 12% simple interest per year. Creditors are generally also awared court costs in garnishment actions, meaning that they are payable by the debtor. The creditor is also obligated to pay a small fee to the employer for processing the paperwork.
