Legal Question in Insurance Law in Wisconsin
Pet Loss
My dog was attacked by another dog and I had to put her down, what am I to ask for from there insurance company? She was my dog and very special to me, and he wants to know the value of the dog to me. How can I put a price on that other than the replacement cost for her. She was a purebred mini Collie

My understanding of the law is that all you're entitled to is the fair market value for the dog.
