Legal Question in Employment Law in Wisconsin
was fired
i was recently fired, the general reason was because of the economy, but when I asked what specificly made them chose me, all they said was we arent at liberty to discuss that. Dont I have the right to know?

Unfortunately, employers in Wisconsin are not obligated to give you a reason for the termination. You may want to look introspectively to see if you can think of any possible discriminatory reason why you would have been chosen.

Under Wis. law you do have a right to review your personnel file.
