Legal Question in Employment Law in Wisconsin
No Lunch
Can an employer legally cancel your lunch and or other breaks for the day if you are working over 8 hours? This seems to be happening 2-3 times a month at my employer. There will be times we work 9 hours with no lunch/break.

Re: No Lunch
An employer cannot legally work an employee for more than 8 hours. If you do work over 8 hours, you must be paid 1 1/2 your hourly rate for all time over 8.
