Re: Paid lunch

This is a tricky question. It depends really on whether your employees count as exempt or non-exempt from overtime laws. If they are non-exempt, meaning entitled to overtime, then the time they spend working during a lunch will count towards any hours worked which requires them to be paid. In addition, those hours will also count towards hitting the overtime requirement.
