wrongful termination

I have a questions regarding my legal rights concerning wrongful termination. A close family member currently was required to quit or take reduced hours at her place of employment. She has taken days off due to the death of her mother last year. This year her brother was hospitalized due to a heart attack and her father has been hospitalized also due to a heart attack.

The key to your question appears to be whether your relative worked for a large employer so that the Family and Medical Leave Act applied to its employees. If so, it would be necessary to find out the exact facts and circumstances regarding her employment and termination, and then analyze that against the requirements of the law.
