Early termination

I signed a lease in 2002 for a 12 month lease and have remained in the same apartment since then but have never signed anything since then to renew. Am I still obligated for the full year since there is not written agreement for me to stay?

Re: Early termination

I would have to review the lease but it is likely now a month to month lease, meaning you will have to give a 30 days notice (measured from last day of month in which notice is given.)

Example, earliest you could move out would be December 31 (since notice given today Nov. 7 would be effective Nov. 30)
