Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Wisconsin
loud music and smoke from lounge located below my apt.
I have recently moved into an apartment above a ''martini lounge'' and unfortunately have been misinformed by the landlord of the actual business below me. The cigarette smoke and music is extreme to the point my picturs have fallen off my wall from the vibration. Ive made several attempts to the lounge owner to turn it down with negative results and the same with the landlord. What action if any can I take? Do I have the right to cancel the lease?

Depending on the nature and mode of the misreprentation, you may have a basis for rescission due to fraud. I would need more details and a review of the written lease to advise.
