The surgeon who removed my kidney stones two months ago punctured my bladder. Medical malpractice or not? Thanks

Re: Butchery

It probably is malpractice, but a lawyer must have the case reviewed by a general surgeon to know. Medical malpractice cases may not go forward unless a doctor in the same specialty as the defendant doctor can testify that the defendant doctor was negligent. Sometimes there are legitimate reasons for a bad result like yours. Only a general surgeon can answer the question.

You have three years from the date of your injury in which to file a case. Since it usually takes some time to investigate the merits of a case, I suggest that you contact a lawyer in the near future to discuss having the case reviewed.
