in a wrongful death claim how do you go about evaluating the worth of services that a DIVORCED now deceased father would have given to his children??thank you in advance for your anticipated responses..

Wrongful Death-Valuation of Divorced Father's Contributions

I would get an economist to evaluate the earning capacity of the deceased. The children would then be entitled to the child support guidelines based upon whatever future earning capacity you could prove until age 18, in addition to the value of other items orderred in the divorce such as health insurance the husband would have supplied. It would also be worth arguing for a contribution to college expenses, especially if the parents had a contract executed as a part of the divorce obligating the father to pay of same.
