Legal Question in Personal Injury in Wisconsin

Hit by another car in work vehicle

I was hit by a truck while working. The driver had no license, and was driving a company car at the time. i had a police report filled out, and all is taken care of, but what if i have neck issues later on due to the accident?

This is always something that makes me really paranoid due to my dad having a broken neck due to an accident.

Should i consult a lawyer, just in case?

Re: Hit by another car in work vehicle

The most important thing to do, if you believe that you suffered any injuries in the accident, is to consult with a doctor as to your injuries and get examined. If you are having any symptoms whatsover, which you believe may be related to the accident, you should advise the doctor and let him tell you whether he has an opinion whether you suffered injuries in the accident. If you did sustain injuries, then you may have both a worker's compensation claim with your employer and also a third-party claim against the insurer for employer of the driver who caused the accident. I would suggest consulting with an experienced personal injury attorney if you did suffer injuries, so that the various claims can be discussed with you in more detail.
