Legal Question in Personal Injury in Wisconsin

If I am insured by the same insurance company as the person who was at fault in my auto accident, will I receive uncompromised compension or should I expect to receive less compensation when an insurance company is in effect suing itself.

The best answer is "maybe." You may recieve better results or you may recieve worse results. Some insurnace companies will use the same adjuster on "both sides" of a claim, so what you tell the adjuster for your side may be used against you by the other side. Sometimes, your insurance company will require you to provide statements or sign authorizations to obtain medical records, which can be used against you by the "other side" insurance adjuster. Sometimes, the insurance company will waive a collision coverage deductible for you if you make the claim under your collision coverage. Otherwise, liabilty (fault) issues and damages issues are still going to be factors in the case, so it is best to consult with an expierenced personal injury attorney.
