Legal Question in Personal Injury in Wisconsin

I'M a 34yr.old female serving parole in wisconsin,I lived in sulphur,lousiana where I was injured by faulty lighting which resulted in me chipping a bone in my foot(fracture). I had a attorney represnt me but when i came to wisconsin he stepped of the case saying ''due to the distance I will no longer be representing you in the such matter''.Now my question is as fallows I have 2mo.yet to file this can i re-start the matter in wisconsin or do I have to go back to lousiana to start the suite again? I do have all the pictures of the injured foot as well as all my medical bills.The injury took place at a motel I was staying at.IM in need of an ATTORNEY in SULPHUR,LOUSIANA WHOM CAN ASSIST ME IN THIS MATTER OR, ANY LEGAL ADVICE. I am responding to your question of February 22, 2001, which I just received today.
You will need to get a lawyer from Louisiana to represent you in your personal injury case. There would be no jurisdiction over the defendant in a Wisconsin court, so the case could not be filed here. If Louisiana law is similar to the law of Wisconsin, you probably will have to file the case in the county where the accident took place.
